Snowfall in the High Sierra

Description: The Sierra Nevada mountain range is home to some of the most beautiful country you'll ever find. Hiking it's back-country trails, you're likely to meet people that have come there from all over the world. In winter, when the high-country is covered with snow, the forest seems to be clothed in a kind of serene solitude. I tried to capture that feeling in this painting. The painting is an original acrylic on stretched canvas measuring 16"X20". It has been varnished to protect the paint surface and is unframed.
